Tail Install and control cables

I read this on someone else's aircraft.  I put JB weld on the threads to reduce the friction through the fire wall fire seal.  Looks good
Dry fit the fairing on the rudder
The Fairing and rudder in place with the stops at the bottom.  Had to trim on the horn and stop to get the required 20 - 22 degrees L & R deflection.
A view of the aft stab mount and the trim of the fuse to accommodate the rudder fairing
Forward Mount
I ran in to a slight problem with the aft hole.  I am too tight to the radius.  So I made a shim to relieve the stress in the radius.
Another view. Should work fine
Wow

Looking forward
Here is the template for the elevator travel.  I also used this to level the tail.  I used a laser level to make sure the stab was square with the fuse.
I added a fan to exhaust air through the cabin.  That bubble canopy can get hot.  Hope this will help

Bulkheads
Polished the nose gear forks and installed the #10 fasteners.  Drilled the axel and installed the fork back on the nose gear.
First use of the nicopress
Also went a head and put some heat shrink
Installed on the rudder pedals.
Here is the aft connection.  Hooked up the rudder and moved the pedals.  The rudder even moved in the correct direction!
