Sharing my impressions of Kit Log Pro. 

 

When I started this project last fall. I bought Kit Log Pro.  Their website said that you could use it for a web based log.  I wanted a web page for this project so I went ahead and bought it.  I have to say I haven't been very impressed.  What I bought did not support web based logs.  I was told that it would in the next revision and that it would be available after the first of the year.  It is now May and still no upgrade for 1.7.  They did come out with 2.0 a while back but no ability to upgrade or transfer data.   I just looked at the web site and now they want $10 to upgrade once they have the product.  Who knows when that will be.

 

Bottom line it hasn't been worth the money I spent.  I find it difficult to transfer photos and hard to sort. When I go back and try to review what I did in the past it comes up with errors.   

 

Bottom line. If you are starting and thinking about using this.  Take a good look.  Word, Excel, and Front Page are easier.  I have found that my web page is a better record and the other resources are just as available on the web.
