Trailer to the Hangar

I found this trailer at the local rent all.  It kneels down to load things on it.

Another view

The other thing this trailer did was allow me to build a simple outrigger to hold the wheels.  The base is about 7.5 feet and all I could find was about 6 feet.  They stick out quite a ways.  So all I did was to use a 2X12 and a 2X4 to support the wheels then tied this down to the trailer.

I rolled the nose wheel on the trailer.  Put the board on .  Lifted the tail and up the mains went on the board.  The raised the trailer and tied everything down.  Worked well.  I did kind of stick off the back a little.  But most of the wait is forward.  I only had about 20 miles to go to the airport.  So I just kept the speed down.  It did want to fish tail when I got going.    If I would have gone further I would have put some weight on the front of the trailer to put a little more weight on the tough.   It worked fine.

My bride.  Glad to have the garage back.

With the help of my buddies we got is safely in the hanger.

Ready for the next step

Lot's of room in the hangar.  I was used to the garage.  Not sure what I will do with all this room.  COOL
