Cowl Part 2

Here is the reinforced part of the duct. I also took a little off of
the fin and rounded it off.
Here is the EGT lead. This is on the aft cylinder and 100 mm from
the flange
Time to hook up all the sensors.
I used spiral wrap to protect.
One thing to note: The lone wire is the ground for the ignition coils/magnetos. This is very noisy. So to keep down EMI I have it shielded and separated. Hopefully everything will be "quiet".

The rest of the leads on the left side.

And on the right side.

Here is a close up of the fuel sensor hookup.

I asked Jabiru how they usually routed the oil pressure sender. They
said they run it underneath and tie it to the lifter covers.

Here you can see the attach point

Now to connect up the hoses. Here is the heater to the firewall.
I left some slack in the EGT lead which allowed me to get it out of the
way.

Here is the connection to the heater box

And another view

Here is the carb heat to the air box

And the connection to the muffler.

Now to install the cowl. I ended up with quite a bit of fitting and
refitting. It is important to make sure that the top cowl also fits
before you locate the bottom. The best thing to do is to use tape
and keep moving it till the top cowl is mated up and aligned.
Didn't need the spinner but looks cool. The front corners of the top
cowl were tough to get lined up.
After much fitting I cut the holes for the clecos. I lost count of
how many times I have installed and uninstalled this.
